    New York City is gearing up for the return of this epic grand prix sailing event for another leg of this awe-inspiring race.  The city will see a full two days of action-packed racing among the F50 fleet that comprises this international event.  Twelve nations will be represented, with some of the top sailing athletes from around the world manning their identical 50-foot foil catamarans.  Teams will race over New York Harbor, reaching speeds of up to 60 mph.  In addition to the racing entertainment, spectators will be surrounded by revelry with food, drinks, and music during this two-day celebration.  The event will take place June 7-8 and is a can’t miss opportunity for New York City this June.

    The Origins of Sail GP, An International Boating Event

    Starting in 2018, SailGP is a renowned international sailing competition that draws crowds around the world.  Participants are some of the best boaters from around the globe.  Each is equipped with an identical catamaran to ensure that all of the athletes are on equal footing during the race.  The 2025 race will have twelve competitors, making this the largest field yet.  This international race spans the globe with stops in San Francisco, and Rio De Janeiro, before arriving in New York City this June.
